Teaching

I love teaching. You might say I teach computer graphics and animation. Actually, I teach how to problem solve through experimentation and play.

I am currently the Associate Chair of Interactive Design and Game Development at the Savannah College of Art and Design.

I primarily teach classes in the Unreal Engine, with a heavy emphasis on gameplay, animation, sequencing, systems, and AI. My personal research is in character systems, specifically for animation and performance.

In addition to teaching, I assist in the management of the department, while strategizing how to facilitate the creation and promotion of student projects.

This course is a 10 week intensive collaborative game development class. Students must work together to imagine, design, develop and ship a game experience in 10 weeks.
